FAQs

If you have questions, we have answers. During your visit with Ace Dental please feel free to ask any and all questions. These are some common questions patients ask.

Why Choose Our Office?

At Ace Dental we take a completely different approach to dentistry and our patients. We treat people, not teeth. Meaning we customize our treatment plan to meet patients goals, not ours. We don't just look in your mouth and tell you what you NEED. We sit and listen to what your goals are for your oral health. We identify the risk factors that are keeping you from reaching those goals, and let you know the most conservative, best and cost effective way to reach those goals. No pressuring you into treatment you don't want or need. We pride ourselves on educating our patients so that THEY can make the best decision for their mouth. Dentistry should be based on mutual trust between the patient and the dentist and we have found this to be the best approach to delivering the best dental care. Contact us for a free consultation and see what great dental care is all about.

Do I need a Second Opinion?

Second opinions are always important when it comes to your health. At Ace Dental we offer complimentary second opinions, and we even encourage some of our patients to get them if they feel they need them. We are confident in our treatment and diagnosis. We also understand that there are more than one way to treat a tooth, mouth, or smile. Which is why we listen to our patients and offer them all options available to fit their needs, wants, goals, or budget. Many patients often complain to us that they have seen multiple different dentists and they have all told them somethign different. This is often true because many different doctors have different treatment philosophies. At Ace Dental we try not to force anyone else philosophy or values on you.

Should I be concerned if my gums bleed when I brush my teeth?

Generally, bleeding gums can be caused by either brushing too hard or from early-stage gum disease, called gingivitis. The main cause for gum disease is when there’s present of heavy plaque or tartar build up below the gum line. When there’s present of tartar around the teeth , bacteria accumulate and eat up the bone supporting your teeth. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss for American adults and it also has been linked to many overall health conditions, including stroke and heart attack. Please contact us for a consultation regarding special gum treatment. We may recommend an initial deep cleaning to stop the disease and return your gums to good health.
